Policies

General Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations up to 14 days prior to arrival or more will result in a full refund minus a $25.00 administration. Cancellations within and including 14 days prior to arrival will result in a charge of one night’s rate plus taxes on your credit card.

Group Booking Policy
Bookings of 3 – 5 rooms under the same name or for the purpose of a tour group or event are automatically considered group bookings.

Group Cancellation Policy
Cancellations up to 30 days prior to arrival or more will incur a $50.00 administration fee per room. Cancellations within and including 30 days prior to arrival will result in the loss of your full deposit received at the time of booking. This applies to all event group booking (example: weddings, company retreats, family reunions, etc).

Contracted Group Booking Policy
Bookings of greater than 5 rooms fall under our Contracted group policy and must be made directly with the hotel, please call 403 762 8829 to make a booking of more than 5 rooms, bookings may be cancelled if a contract is not signed 60 days prior to arrival date.
Contracted Group Cancellation Policy Any bookings made under a contracted agreement between Castle Mountain Chalets and third parties are subject to the cancellation policy outlined in the agreement.

Late Checkout Policy:
If you require a late check out, please arrange it directly with the Front Desk. Failing to checkout (without prior arrangements) by the scheduled time of 11am will incur an additional room charge of anywhere between $50.00 and up to one full day plus taxes.

Early Checkout Policy:
Your reservation dates were confirmed at the time of reservation and by confirmation email. Any early checkouts will result in full payment of the original reservation.

Lost Key Policy:
Any lost or non-returned keys will be charged a $75.00

Smoking Policy:
All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% smoke-free. A $250 deep cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.

Noise and Disturbance Policy:
We operate a family friendly resort. Any excessive noise in or around the cabins is not acceptable after 10pm. The resort reserves the right to evict and/or charge a noise disturbance fee if compensation is given to other guests due to noise.

Unregistered Guests:
An unregistered guest is considered anyone without a reservation or persons over the maximum allowable room limit. Maximum number of guests in a room is limited to 4 persons in one-bedroom cabins/ Suites, and 6 persons in a two bedroom cabins. Any additional unregistered guests will result in an additional charge of $100 per person and possible eviction of the entire party.

Visitors of Guests:
Visitors of guests must always be accompanied by a registered guest of Castle Mountain Chalets. Visitors of guests must vacate the property by 10pm. Visitors on the property after 10pm will be considered as an unregistered guest.

Pet Policy:
We welcome people and pet-friendly dogs subject to registration and the completion of the pet waiver. There is a pet fee of $25.00+tax per pet/per night. Pets must not be left unattended in rooms or on the property and must always be in control of the owner . Unregistered pets are subject to a $250 fee, eviction, extra cleaning fees and/or damage fees. We do not allow any other pets other than Dogs.

Extra Cleaning Fees:
Before checking out please put dishes in dishwasher and start the wash cycle to avoid the cleaning fee. Dirty dishes left in rooms upon checkout will incur a $25 cleaning fee processed after you have checked out. Permanently stained linens from spilled items such as but not including red wine, oils, nail polish etc., will incur a $100 replacement fee processed after you have checked out. Accidents attributed to pets will incur a $100 cleaning fee processed after you have checked out. Any room which is deemed as unduly dirty by management will incur a $200 cleaning fee processed after you have checked out.

Damage and Missing Items:
Guests are responsible for any damage and/or missing items. This includes loss revenue if the room is put out of order due to damage or missing items. Charges as applicable will apply.

Credit Card Policy:
Total stay must be paid in full at check in. By signing, you authorize Castle Mountain Chalets to charge the card on file for; the remaining balance owed at check-in, incidental charges and hotel policy fees.
